The Bible teaches that when a man marries he is to leave his parents and cleave to his wife (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-5; Ephesians 5:31). Rebekah is a good example of independence from parents for women - "And they called Rebekah, and said unto her, Wilt thou go with this man? And she said, I will go" (Genesis 24:58).

The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”… So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. - Genesis 2:18, 21-24

So, what is time? To put it simply, time is duration. Our clocks mark change or, more precisely, our timepieces are benchmarks of change that indicate the passage of time. We could say, then, that time is a necessary precondition for change, and change is a sufficient condition to establish the passage of time. In other words, whenever there’s a change of any kind, we know that time has passed. We see this as we go through life and as we age. And we cannot recover the minutes that have passed by.

This is a recording of a Men's event we did before Christmas 2023. The Audio is not our highest quality, but the information is great and we hope it brings you curiosity and symbolic knowledge.
The Seder is the traditional dinner that Jews partake of as part of Passover. The annual Passover commemoration is celebrated by nearly the entire Jewish community, bonding families and communities to their Jewish roots. Each year Jewish people, religious and nonreligious, celebrate the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob by gathering and experiencing the Passover Seder.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
The renewal of all things is meant to be your first hope in the way that God is your First Love. If it isn’t the answer to your wildest dreams, if you aren’t ready at this very moment to sell everything and buy this field, then you have placed your hopes somewhere else. Nearly everyone has.
When a precious hope is dashed, it can really break your heart. It may usher in fear and anxiety. You may not recover for a week or five years, depending on the loss and the other resources of your life.
If you put your hope in something that cannot possibly come through for you, you will be constantly let down. It was never meant to play that role. Only God knows the depths of your desires. Only He can come through and meet your needs.
Jesus — rescue my heart and all my dashed hopes. You are the Healer; come and heal every lost hope in me. Resurrect hope, Lord.
